Missouri River Flooding 2011

June 26th, 2011

Other Dates

Randy went out for a boat ride on his birthday on one of our farms back in June. We have labeled this area "River Farm" in many of our other pictures.

The road usually slopes down gradually at least 6 to 7 feet
starting here.
The higher bank of our field is slightly higher than the water.
Water as far as the eye can see.
The small island in the middle of the field. The other high spot on the lower ground.
The bins are where the boat was unloaded at.
Randy standing on the pivot with about four feet of water below. Later that week all of the tires were covered by the water.
Randy and Patty in the boat.
The current there was very fast.
A few tires were already covered
  Water everywhere.
Cover for the irrigation panel to keep the rain out.
